About Wise Mind OT

Wise Mind OT is a mental health occupational therapy practice based in Mullaloo, Western Australia, supporting adults to move from overwhelm and disconnection toward clarity, confidence, and a meaningful way forward.

We work with people who are navigating complexity— whether that’s a recent diagnosis of ADHD or autism, ongoing anxiety or depression, burnout, life transitions, or simply a sense of feeling stuck or misunderstood. Our work is grounded in the belief that people are not broken— often, they just haven’t yet been supported in a way that truly fits.

Our Approach: From Chaos to Clarity

At Wise Mind OT, therapy is collaborative, practical, and deeply respectful of your lived experience. We focus on supporting change that shows up in real life- in your routines, relationships, work and sense of self.

  1. Re-group — Making Sense & Finding Your Ground

When life feels chaotic, the first step is not “fixing” - it’s slowing things down. We begin by building awareness of your experiences, helping you make sense of what’s happening in your mind, body, and daily life. This stage is about grounding, safety, and understanding- so you’re not trying to move forward while feeling overwhelmed.

2 . Recalibrate — Reclaim What Matters

From there, we explore what’s important to you. Together, we gently reframe unhelpful patterns, build self-compassion, and strengthen understanding of yourself and of how you relate to others. This stage supports reconnection: with your values, your identity, and the people and roles that matter in your life.

3 . Re-engage — Paving Your Path

Finally, we focus on practical change. This may include building skills, developing routines, supporting emotional regulation, strengthening executive functioning, or creating personalised systems that actually work for you. The goal is not perfection, but a sustainable way of living that supports participation, autonomy, and wellbeing.

Who We Support

Wise Mind OT works primarily with adults who:

  • Are adjusting to a recent or late diagnosis of ADHD or Autism

  • Experience anxiety, depression, burnout, or emotional overwhelm

  • Feel disconnected from others, misunderstood, or unsure where they fit

  • Want practical, evidence-based support that aligns with their values and real-world demands

Our practice is neuroaffirming and trauma-informed. We respect difference, prioritise safety and choice, and work at a pace that feels manageable and meaningful.
